Tempeh Tacos with Avocado-Tahini-Lime "Crema" on Corn Tortillas


This recipe is really just a combination of other recipes on the blog, so I encourage you to use your own creativity and use elements of this recipe to build something delicious that's very much a reflection of your loves and favorite flavors! The recipe is dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, and whole-food based so there's something here for everyone.

Ingredients: Marinated tempeh (from this recipe) Avocado-Tahini-Lime "Crema" (from this recipe) Corn tortillas (from this recipe) Kraut or slaw of your choice (my favorite is Ozuké brand kraut, and I love the beet/dulse/kale flavor).

Heat corn tortillas (in damp towel in the microwave for about 15 seconds) if they have been refrigerated. Fill tortilla with tempeh, add your favorite toppings (kraut/slaw), and top with avocado-tahini-lime "crema." For extra zest, give each taco a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
